Asclepias viridiflora:  What we have seen:  flowers are tightly packed in their umbel clusters (usually tilted downward) ... lime green or yellow-green reflexed petals ... the five purple hoods are tight around a taller central column the color of the petals ... central column has frilly, almost white tips ... deep green leaves are broad, ovate but usually pointed, wavy edges, some very waxy and shiny, showing many close veins, short petioles.  We have found viridiflora in DeWitt and Bexar Counties in Texas.
